How It All Started

LumaBelly was born after Lumen, a seven-month pregnant mother, experienced a distressing driving incident. During a sudden swerve to avoid an accident, she suffered minor bruising from the seatbelt compressing her abdomen.

She later developed pregnancy complications, and although carried to full term, her daughter later showed signs of a brain injury - likely due to excessive force.

Lumen and her husband were determined to prevent a similar outcome with their next child, and decided to take matters into their own hands.
