Why not just buy a cheap multipack?

You can get eight pairs of compression socks online for less than one pack of ours. It is a fair question and it deserves a straight answer rather than a sales pitch.

Where a cheap multipack is genuinely fine

  • You want something for one long flight.
  • Your calves sit comfortably in the middle of a standard size range.
  • You are not planning to wear them daily for months.

If that is you, buy the multipack. We would rather say that than take your money.

Where they tend to fail

The complaints are consistent across the category, and they are all about wear-time rather than compression:

  • One-size sizing. A pack sized for an average leg does not account for a calf that has changed through pregnancy. This is the most common failure.
  • The cuff. A band that grips the widest part of the calf rolls down and can make ankle swelling worse.
  • The feel. A stiff synthetic knit that itches or overheats gets abandoned by mid-morning.
  • Losing compression. Cheap knits go slack quickly, particularly after a hot wash.

A sock you stop wearing after a week costs more than a sock you wear every day, whatever the price on the box.

What you are actually paying for here

  • A cotton-rich fabric that is softer against sensitive skin than a technical synthetic
  • A calf range that goes to about 19 inches in L/XL
  • A cuff designed not to act as a tourniquet on a wider calf
  • A free size exchange if you get it wrong, and a 30-day guarantee
  • Someone who answers your email

What you are not paying for

Anything medical. We are not a prescription garment and we are not claiming to outperform a clinical compression stocking. If your clinician has recommended a specific compression class, get what they told you to get.
